“A Gloucestershire variety that has been praised throughout history by John Evelyn (1670), Hogg & Bull (1886) and Gabe Cook (2022!), yet this may beg the first single variety Dymock Red that you have ever tasted. A medium bittersharp apple with a very pleasant flavour: a gentle acidity and soft finish. This bottle was made from just one large tree we have on the farm; but in 2019 we began efforts to graft more, to ensure this once popular apple, has a chance to shine again!”
